1. Service and eligibility

Security Guardian is an independently operated Discord bot and appeal website for server-configured honeypot moderation. These terms apply to use of its features. You must meet Discord's minimum age and eligibility rules, applicable law and the rules of the server where you use it. The service does not grant an exception to Discord's Terms or Community Guidelines.

2. Administrator setup and responsibility

Only an authorized server administrator should configure the system. The administrator selects the honeypot channel, moderation-log channel, appeal-review channel, punishment action and timeout duration, and manages whitelist roles. Administrators must explain the rule and consequences to members, restrict evidence and appeal channels appropriately, and grant only the permissions necessary for the intended operation.

The configured honeypot is a restricted channel. For non-exempt users, posting there triggers the rule even if the message appears harmless. The current implementation exempts the server owner, users with Administrator permission and users holding a configured whitelist role; bot messages are ignored. A role called “Moderator” alone does not create an exemption unless its permissions or whitelist configuration do so.

Test configuration with an informed test account in a controlled setting before relying on it for a live community. Administrators remain responsible for their configuration and decisions. Do not use the bot to harass users, hide an unfair rule, disclose private evidence unnecessarily or evade Discord's safeguards.

3. Automatic actions and their limits

Depending on configuration, the bot attempts a ban, kick or timeout. It also attempts to remove the affected user's messages from the preceding hour: Discord's ban cleanup is used for a successful ban, while other cases use available channels and threads where the bot has the required access and message-management permissions.

Some actions can fail because of role hierarchy, missing permissions, API limits, network problems or unavailable messages. Message removal may be irreversible through the normal Discord interface. Reversing a ban or timeout does not restore messages already deleted or automatically return a kicked member to a server.

The bot attempts a DM notification before the punishment and preserves available incident evidence for the configured log channel. Closed DMs, attachment limits or other failures may prevent a notification or complete evidence capture. A moderation action or log entry is not proof that a person committed fraud or that their account was hacked.

4. Appeals and review

An affected user may reply to the bot's DM or submit an appeal through Security Hub. Provide accurate identifiers, a relevant explanation and only necessary evidence. Do not impersonate another person or include passwords, tokens, one-time codes or unrelated sensitive data.

An authorized administrator decides whether to approve or reject the appeal in Discord. Approval can attempt to remove a ban or timeout; the result depends on the bot's permissions and the current Discord state. Submitting an appeal does not guarantee approval or a fixed response time. Website submission controls may limit repeated requests.

Report an incorrect action to the relevant server administrators and, for bot faults, to Hood Team. This service cannot override Discord enforcement or another server's rules.

5. Evidence and personal data

The bot processes identifiers, messages, attachment evidence and appeal information as described in the Privacy Policy. Configuration and operational appeal records are stored outside Discord. Evidence and appeal-review messages may remain in Discord after the active database record is removed.

Administrators must explain evidence handling to their users and limit who can view it. Permission to operate a moderation feature is not permission to sell data, train AI with messages or publish private evidence without an appropriate basis. Data requests can be made through the contact below.

6. Availability, changes and stopping use

The service depends on Discord and hosting providers. Continuous availability, detection of every threat and error-free execution are not guaranteed. Security Guardian is one moderation tool and does not replace account security, attentive administrators or independent review of suspicious activity.

Administrators may disable the honeypot feature or remove the bot. Doing so does not automatically erase all stored records or Discord log messages; request deletion separately as explained in the Privacy Policy. Features may be changed or suspended to address faults, abuse, platform requirements or service availability. Material changes will be described through the website or support channel.

These terms do not exclude rights or obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded, and do not override Discord's applicable requirements. No paid subscription or new payment obligation is created by this page.

7. Contact and reports

For service questions, incorrect actions, privacy requests or reports of misuse, contact Discord: uluvjeffy or the Hood Team support server. Include the application name, relevant server and your Discord User ID where needed. Never send your password, token or one-time code.

Security Guardian is not affiliated with or endorsed by Discord. Discord controls any review of Privileged Intents. Publishing these documents does not mean that requested access has been approved.
